We have updated the Terms and Conditions for Payment Services

Dear Customers,
We would like to inform you that “Mano bankas”, AB has updated the General Terms and Conditions for the provision of payment services (hereinafter – the General Terms and Conditions), which will enter into force on 9 October 2025.
Please note that for existing clients who concluded financial services agreements before 9 October 2025, the new Terms and Conditions will apply as of 9 December 2025.
These changes have been introduced in line with the requirements of European Union regulation and in order to further strengthen the security of your payments. To reduce the risk of fraud and accidental errors, we are introducing a new payee name verification service. When making a payment within the bank in euros or to another payment service provider registered in Lithuania or another euro area country, the system will compare the recipient’s name, surname, or company name with the data held by the recipient’s payment service provider.
Even if the name you enter does not fully match, you will still be able to confirm the payment. However, in such cases, you risk losing your funds if they are transferred to the wrong recipient.

If you do not agree with these changes, you have the right to terminate your agreement with the bank free of charge (including closing your account) by notifying the bank no later than 8 December 2025. If you do not notify the bank of your disagreement by this date, we will consider that you have accepted the changes.
