Rokas Statulevičius Appointed Head of Lending at Mano Bank

Rokas Statulevičius has been appointed Head of Lending at AB Mano Bankas, succeeding Aurimas Putna, who has led the department for many years. During his first year in the role, the new Head of Lending plans to focus primarily on financing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), improving customer experience, and strengthening the team.

Rokas Statulevičius has been appointed Head of Lending at AB Mano Bankas. Over the past six years, he has led various business financing departments at Citadele Bank. He joins Mano Bankas recognising the potential for further growth in its lending business and aiming to build and strengthen a team capable of driving this growth.

“My immediate priority is to ensure a smooth transition into the leadership role, get to know the team, and bring everyone together around a shared direction. I see this new chapter as an opportunity to engage more actively in the market, simplify the journey from customer needs to financing decisions, and pursue disciplined growth. I want commercial activity, professional risk assessment, and team engagement to complement one another,” says R. Statulevičius.

According to him, one of the key opportunities for Mano Bankas lies in financing small and medium-sized enterprises. In this market, customers value not only the size or cost of a loan but also the bank’s ability to provide a comprehensive financing solution – from loans and leasing to ILTE or European Investment Fund (EIF) guarantees, where appropriate for a particular project.

“Today, businesses look beyond pricing. A bank needs to understand each business model, communicate clearly, offer well-founded flexibility, and transform as many administrative processes as possible into simple digital solutions. Speed must go hand in hand with responsible credit assessment, as this is what builds long-term trust,” says R. Statulevičius.

As he takes up his new role, the Head of Lending intends to focus on defining responsibilities more clearly and strengthening proactive engagement with customers. He believes it is important for every team member to understand not only their individual responsibilities but also how their work contributes to customer experience, portfolio quality, and the bank’s overall performance.

R. Statulevičius will also work to ensure that Mano Bankas is an accessible and responsive financing partner for businesses, capable of understanding each company’s specific circumstances and offering the most suitable financing solution.
